About Course

Many students can “do” algebra – but few truly see how it connects to the patterns in the world.

This is a masterclass for everyone who is curious about the Algebra Learning Quest in the Gifted Summer Program – Online July 2025.

This course starts where pre-algebra ends: developing deep intuition through hands-on investigations, challenging visual puzzles, and creative math games. By the end, students will have the tools to create, extend, and generalize patterns and work fluently with variables and unknowns.

Perfect for mathematically talented students entering Grades 5 and 6 who are ready to go beyond school math and start thinking like mathematicians.
