Get ready for an exciting adventure into the world of "Paper Structures and Soft Robotics" with Gifted World! Join us online for a hands-on masterclass where we'll transform ordinary paper and simple materials into magical moving creations, introducing you to some basics of soft robotics.

Who Can Join: Curious minds aged 12 and up

In this masterclass, you'll discover how to make paper come alive, creating fascinating movements and structures. It's a perfect blend of creativity, engineering, and fun! So, grab your paper, bring your curiosity, and let's explore the incredible world of soft robotics together.

Materials to bring with you: 

1)Regular A4 Writing paper. ( 15 sheets ) 

2)Thick card paper ( Like  invitation cards or cereal boxes ) 

3) Rubber bands or thin elastic cord

4) Medium sized Needle and Thread or Twine 

5) Geometry Box (Compass, Protractor, Set Squares, Ruler, pen or pencil)

6) Scissors or Cutter

7) Glue or Glue Stick

About the Mentor:

Muralidhar (aka Murali) is senior mentor and course designer at GenWise with 20+ years of experience in the social sector. In addition to delivering Vocational Training to young adults, he is currently responsible for design, manufacturing and marketing operations at a traditional handicraft (wooden toys) enterprise near Bengaluru. Murali has also delivered training and professional development programs for secondary school science teachers and 'making' skills to "gifted students" for around 4 years. Murali has a bachelor's degree in Engineering from IIT Madras.
